This morning, I won a major award. And my beloved Clevelander student made sure that my parents were in town to see me get it. And that, my friends, is love all around.
And: when the award was announced, they called me Associate Professor. Nice.
While we were at the environmental center near the prairie, getting this picture of the frog was cause enough for excitement. Once I returned home, the excitement lay in discovering all those eggs trailing all over the part of the picture that's not the frog. A new kind of Easter egg!
The intrepid dog had known all along what she had difficulty believing: that all would be well, and all would be well, and all manner of things would be well.
